Each brand has its own size guide, so it is important to know how to interpret what information the guide gives you about the shoe. In other words, knowing how to interpret whether the guide talks about foot measurement, insole measurement or internal shoe measurement.
If the brand guide says foot measurement , you don't need to add any allowance .
If the brand guide talks about insole measurement or internal measurement of the shoe, you should pay attention to whether there is a gap between the foot measurement and the insole measurement/internal measurement of the shoe between 0.8 to 1.2cm in length and 0.3 to 0.5cm in width .
